The Sports Pavilion of Tithebarn will provide changing rooms for the sports pitches currently under construction next to the town square. It is also planned to include some community space with a small kitchen. Design Concept (taken from Planning doc):
The Design Concept for the Sports Pavilion is primarily led by the requirements of the S106 agreement which requires the following:
- 4x separate changing rooms to accommodate up to 20 players each including showers with 4 shower heads and 2 toilets per room and a minimum of 20sqm of changing space
- 2x Separate changing rooms for the match officials with a shower and toilet
- Kitchen facilities (including serving hatch)
- Toilets (including one disabled and one accessible externally)
- Storage area/plant room (including kit lockers)
- Clubhouse/social area
The pavilion proposed includes all of the above, as well as including a level access as well for disabled access to the pavilion. The parking Is also led by the S106 which requires Persimmon Homes to deliver:
- At least 30 parking spaces
- Secure bike stands for 10 bicycle spaces Persimmon Homes is proposing 30 parking spaces (made up of 2 Disabled spaces, 1 EV space and 27 standard spaces) for cars and 1 for minibuses.
- As well as bike stands for 14 bicycle places.
Finally, the sports pitches, for this we are obligated to deliver:
- Adult Football 11v11 pitch
- Youth Football 11v11 pitch
- Youth Football 9v9 Pitch
- Mini Football 7v7 pitch
- Mini football 5v5 pitch
- Cricket Ground hosting 8 grass wickets
- Grass training area
- An additional grass training area
