Signage for Tithebarn on the main road
6.1. The parish council has agreed funding, which has been conveyed to Highways (who will provide the signs).
6.2. A Neighbourhood Highway Technician is in the process of gaining the quotation for sign-off. Most recently, BPC’s invoicing address has
been requested, which feels as if the process is moving in the right direction.
6.3. We have asked the team for an update on projected timescales for completion – an update of which is awaited

Recently improved bus service
by Henry Gent, County Councillor
The “B” service which runs from the park and change at the Science Park, via Tithebarn Way, to Marsh Barton (and Exminster), via the High Street, is now running from 5.12 in the morning until 23.15 at night, with the service at 20 minute intervals for most of the day. I have written to DCC to try and get them to change the names of the stops in Tithebarn, which are wrongly described as being in “Monkerton”.

ii. Broadclyst District Ward Members
Cllr Fernley circulated an update. Cllrs Chamberlain and Rylance were not present. Cllr Gent raised a question to Cllr Fernley around the name of ‘Tithebarn’ as different agencies seem to call different parts by different names.
Action: Clerk to check with Post Office the name of all developments south of the railway.

Community Connector Report
Tithebarn road signage: a report will be brought to a future meeting of Council asking to resolve the location and appearance of new road “Welcome to Tithebarn” signs to be placed on the northern and southern entrances to Tithebarn Way. Options have been outlined and a site visit conducted by myself, with a meeting with the Residents’ Association Chair due to take place prior to this meeting. I am awaiting quotes from Devon County Council on this installation of this signage – once this has been received, this report will be delivered to Council for ratification.
