We are the Tithebarn Residents Association and we will be holding our next AGM on Thursday 23rd January 2025 at The Black Horse Inn, Sowton, starting 7pm (finishing 9pm).
We will be appointing the next set of committee members. The roles that are up for nomination are Chair, Vice Chair, Secretary, Treasurer + up to 6 other committee members.
The chair and vice-chair share the leadership duties by running our 6 meetings a year and representing us externally when required. The secretary manages the correspondence, takes the minutes of meetings and holds the membership records. The Treasurer looks after our income and expenditure and reports back to the residents on how any funds are being spent. Other committee members get involved by volunteering to co-ordinate events and work with other members in actioning the key issues.
Members generally are able to get involved by proposing ideas at meetings, and volunteering to help out with events and actions.
