DESCRIPTION:Draft Minutes \nPresent: Reji Jose  Kombarakaran\, Korneel\, John and Anne Watson\, Craig and Nancy Halsey\, John Rowe\, Steve and Debra Perry.  Graham Kendall\, Nikki Hall\, Marc Coton\, Paula Fernley (from 8pm)  \nApologies:  Fran\, Adam Walmsley\, Jess Pinn\,  Janet and Colin Stamp\, Lesley Browne\,  \nPrevious Meeting \nMinutes of the previous meeting were circulated within 1 week of previous meeting.  They were approved.   https://tithebarn.uk/event/ra-jan-25-residents-association-meeting/ \n  \nMatters arising from previous meeting: \nConsultations:  Marc to set up webpage of ongoing consultations.  Action:  MARC COTON \n\nAllotments: holding statement update received from BPC.  Needs chasing and timelining.  Action:  MARC COTON\n\n___ \nEvents subgroup: \nEvent Planning chat now exists.  Comprises: Committee (Fran\, Korneel\, Paula\, Debra\, Reji); plus:  Charlotte Staddon\, Denise & John Rowe\, Emma Boatwright\, Hannah Hall\, Mansoor Ahmad\, Nicola & Graham Hall\, Rhys Davidson\, Stacey Heath \nIt was agreed that the Events Planning group now has the authority to action this agenda item and create opportunities for the local community to come together: \n\n8th May\, VE Day 80th celebrations.  \n\nFran was seeking permission from Eagle One to use the Town Square.  Action: FRAN\nEvent Planning to form plan and action.  Action: Event Planning group\n\n\n9th or 10th August\, Parish Council’s Tithebarn Fun Day\n\nEvent Planning to form plan and action.  Action: Event Planning group\n\n\nBoard Games event – approved for actioning.\n\nNikki Hall says staff will stay on for café.  Marc to add Nikki to Events Planning group. \nDate and details to be decided.  \n\n\nEaster Bingo – not viable anymore with short time frame.  \nMarket food on Friday nights.  Willingness for this. Action: Event Planning group\nSunday morning – free coffee and cake at the ISCA restaurant on Sundays.  Could use as a TRA coffee meet up.  Action:  DEBRA to contact and find out future dates.\nWhatsapp Group:  If you would like to support and assist these events\, please join https://chat.whatsapp.com/ExlrwnsQXgg7ESVI1Kstjw\n\n____ \nIndoor Space: \n\nthere is currently no community space for large groups to meet within Tithebarn. Closest options are the Science Park and the Black Horse. Do we want to push for a temporary space (ie. Marquee or similar)?  The meeting agreed that finding an indoor space is a priority.  \nWhatapp Group:  \nAt the TRA meeting\, it was agreed that a group to pursue the creation of an Indoor Space was a priority.  To co-ordinate this\, the chat has been set up at https://chat.whatsapp.com/KNisgae2VWAIh3waPXUH35\nPlease join if you would like to stay updated and get involved in this action.\n\n____ \nThe Adoption Process: \n\nFollowing the jan 2025 meeting\, the request for formal plan of action from all councils was postponed until May 2025 meeting.   This will also have seen the East Devon action plan announcement and (hopefully) the report back from the Parish Council regarding the Management Company adoption.\nAction:  Paula Fernley and Korneel Verhaeghe to contact BPC for udpate and potential invite to next TRA meeting.\nDevelopers are now making efforts to hand over to the management company. How do we want to be involved in this and what can we do between now and handover date?\nAction:  The Adoption Process\, May 2025. CRAIG to contact Permssion and get updates.\n\n___ \nSports and Fitness: \n\nIt was agreed that focus should be on community activities that bring residents together in a positive way.  \nBasketball Court:  Let’s ask about opening the basketball court first and separately to the play area (which is expected to take several more months).  Action: PAULA\nIdeas for clubs include:  football\, basketball\, walking groups\, couch to 5K.  Craig and Korneel willing to get this started.  Action:  a group to co-ordinate Sports and Fitness activities would be a positive move in building the community.  A group for this has been set up at:  https://chat.whatsapp.com/C3h2Q2kRyWW9i6J44nEftP\n\n___ \nYouth Provision: \nUpdate:  The YMCA are still awaiting for a decision about whether the Science Park will permit the hosting of Youth Club on their premises.
